My wandering feet are torn by the shards of broken dreams.
Desperate prayers fly from my mouth in search of a place to rest.
Where is your face?
My hands are crippled from tilling soil where no crop will seed.
My flesh is laid bare by the chill wintery wind of isolation.
Institutions are built through force; Communities are built through weakness.

I married my wife Suzanne in May 1996. I love her and treasure her as the best friend and helpmate I can imagine. We have 3 wonderful boys. I am finishing my Doctoral dissertation on developing self-replicating teams for church planting and working for Logos Bible Software. God is awesome!

- Elders Lead A Healthy Family: The Future
This series on Elders has come at a price. It is the result of many tough years of learning to trust in Scripture above the demands of culture. Through time, I have come to believe that the future of church is found in our past. Slowly we are coming to embrace the biblical ideal [...]
