I originally created this series of 4 images to promote the Growth Groups in our church (back then we were calling them “Open Door” groups). The images were designed to emphasize the openness of the Gospel and the hospitality of church.
The moment we make church into an anti-method (ie, the “institutional” method is bad and therefore I reject that form of Christian expression) we suppress the diversity of Christ’s Body.

I married my wife Suzanne in May 1996. I love her and treasure her as the best friend and helpmate I can imagine. We have 3 wonderful boys. I am finishing my Doctoral dissertation on developing self-replicating teams for church planting and living out my current dream planting a church and working for Logos Bible Software. God is awesome!

- Faithful Leaders Have Dangerous Thinking
“How do we ever develop a safe theology from a dangerous Faith?” Erwin McManus
What a phenomenal question! Have you ever really examined your theology in light of this concept? Check it out, the Bible is full of stories that demonstrate to us that true faith is dangerous. Look at Sampson as one example. He was [...]

Clever clever!
Oh, it is hard to choose a favorite! I am going to say “door.jpg” (the second one) but I am sure at a different time, I am might a different choice.
I have to say that the last one is my favorite. The color combination is wonderful with the lighter blue and the red door. I think it makes the door stand out more, but the colors also complement each other well.
