I am not a fan of the Florida Gators (Go Penn State), but I am a fan of Tim Tebow. Not because of what he has done on the football field, but for what he has done with his life off the field. Tebow has used his physical talents, his 2007 Heisman Trophy award, and his football status as “Superman” to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
My prayer is that my three sons will grow to become men like Tim Tebow–men who do great things, and do them for the glory of Jesus Christ.
The fear of failure drives many to success; the fear of success drives many more to ruin.

I married my wife Suzanne in May 1996. I love her and treasure her as the best friend and helpmate I can imagine. We have 3 wonderful boys. I am finishing my Doctoral dissertation on developing self-replicating teams for church planting and working for Logos Bible Software. God is awesome!

I notice of late a lot of bloggers expressing some concern about the method (“meal” vs. “snack”), but seldom [...]

- Too Many Leaders?
In the church family, every follower of Jesus is a member, every member is a minister and every minister is a leader. The problem with my definition of functional leadership is that it cuts across the grain of common sense. We all know the old idiom, “too many chefs in the kitchen spoil the pot.” [...]

- The DNA of Church – Accountability
Faith, Integrity, and Commitment naturally lead us to embrace the DNA of Accountability. ACCOUNTABILITY TO GOD: The DNA of Accountability is submitting to the Father’s will so we can experience the total pleasure in His holiness. ACCOUNTABILITY WITH MAN: The DNA of Accountability grows relationships of forgiveness and cleansing, which reorient our beliefs, customs and practices, both [...]
