I am not a fan of the Florida Gators (Go Penn State), but I am a fan of Tim Tebow. Not because of what he has done on the football field, but for what he has done with his life off the field. Tebow has used his physical talents, his 2007 Heisman Trophy award, and his football status as “Superman” to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
My prayer is that my three sons will grow to become men like Tim Tebow–men who do great things, and do them for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Decision making is an art learned only by experience; therefore, seek guidance from those who are the masters of this art.

I married my wife Suzanne in May 1996. I love her and treasure her as the best friend and helpmate I can imagine. We have 3 wonderful boys. I am finishing my Doctoral dissertation on developing self-replicating teams for church planting and living out my current dream planting a church and working for Logos Bible Software. God is awesome!

- Elders Lead A Healthy Family: Guidelines
So far, we have explored what the Bible teaches about Elders as spiritual Big-brothers and shepherds. Before we applying this knowledge to the structure of Church, I want to provide a few important guidelines.
From the beginning, let me assert that putting Elders at the helm of a healthy Family is not the same as a [...]

- An Introduction to Romans: Unity in God
Today our church began a teaching series in Romans. I wanted to share some of my thoughts form today’s talk.
Most of the commentaries I read this week really missed the target of what this letter is all about. All too often, scholars get hung up on the meaning of certain Greek word or on [...]
