The book of Acts is a 12 week study of the story of God’s prophetic promise fulfilled through the expansion of the Christian church in the first century Mediterranean world. This course helps the student understand the narrative of Acts by examining its origin, purpose, history of interpretation, theology, and patterns of church growth. Studying the book of Acts will deepen the student’s understanding of the early church’s missional nature and the implications for modern leadership and church practice.
