The 12 week course is designed for anyone interested in preaching and/or teaching the Bible. The course will introduce students to methods, purposes, and art of rhetoric. Students will learn how to develop and deliver Exegetical, Expository, Topical, Narrative and Expository-Narrative messages. The students will have practical in-class opportunities to do biblical exegesis and explore methods of text and topic selection that will allow them to keep their preaching and teaching biblically focused and doctrinally solid. Throughout the course, a cross section of accomplished guest speakers from local ministries will share their preparation and delivery techniques along with examples of their delivery style.
